ElliQ was created by Intuition Robotics in collaboration with industrial designer Yves Béhar, with a single purpose: address the epidemic of loneliness among older adults through technology that adapts to people, not the other way around.

Unlike a smart speaker that only responds when spoken to, ElliQ proactively initiates. It notices when someone has been sitting quietly for too long and suggests a walk. It reminds about medications without being asked. It shares a joke or a poem. It plays music from a senior's youth. Over time, it learns preferences and adapts its suggestions accordingly.

The dedicated tablet included with every ElliQ system makes video calls effortless — family members call in, and ElliQ verbally announces the call and asks if the senior wants to answer. No complicated interfaces. No missed connections.
